Yorkshire and North East: Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to cover the Yorkshire and North East areas. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Truck Parts Aftermarket. They will understand who the completion is, who the suppliers are and where the opportunities for growth will come from. This is a senior position and will suit ambitious professionals looking for a unique and exciting challenge with one of the UK’s fastest growing CV parts providers.

Having served the automotive industry since 1986, IMEX is a leading independent parts distributor, offering a genuine alternative to the franchised network.

As a BDM, your duties and responsibilities will be to develop new and build existing customer relationships and increase sales throughout the area.

You will:

Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging key customers and prospects in conjunction with sales personnel; manage and grow sales in defined territory by at least 25% YOY.

Engage with customers and prospects at all levels and negotiate National and local supply contracts and tenders.

Show complete understanding of the Company marketing campaigns and promotions.

Residing within the territory, an ideal BDM will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Proven successful sales experience in a field environment
• Knowledge of the CV parts aftermarket
• Knowledge of key Fleets & Repairers – end users
• Excellent IT skills
• High levels of literacy and numeracy
• High level of planning & organisational skills
