That sounds quite a claim to fame - so here's how it all happened. 

Established in Yorkshire the company was set up by Arthur Pinkney who realised that, when it came to buying replacement vehicle parts, truck mechanics didn't have many places to go. So, with one other member of staff, one product range and a lot of Yorkshire grit, Arthur formed Imex.

Today, over 60 staff work from six purpose-built Imex truck parts depots around the UK, supplying over 15,000 customers with original and replacement automotive parts.
