New Face in the Sales Office
Kevin Pike joins the sales department as a parts interpreter.
With over 20 years experience in the commercial motor trade, Imex was the perfect next step in his aftermarket career, which he entered from school. Kevin will work at the company's head office in Castleford and be based in the busy sales office answering incoming calls for the company which specialises in MAN & Iveco replacement parts.
This new role will not only offer Imex customers a higher level of service on the phone, but will help the company with its plans for 2009, which include extending its product range.
In his previous employment, Kevin has worked on Daf and Iveco, but has mainly specialised in MAN and Mercedes, so his skills are a perfect fit for Imex.
Kevin Pike, parts interpreter: "It's exciting to be joining a company who is recognised and respected throughout the replacement parts industry. I'm looking forward to the challenges ahead. Having worked within the parts market ever since leaving school, Imex have always been a thorn in my side, but now I'm seeing the other side, I can see why they are such a problem to the main dealers."
Imex Managing Director, Arthur Pinkney, feels the appointment of Kevin is yet another step in the right direction when it comes to delivering and maintaining a first-class customer service: "As a company we are committed to delivering a service that our customers can trust and depend on time and time again. Kevin's appointment gives us another man on the phone, offering technical knowledge and a service which sets us apart from competitors. We wish him every success in his new role."
Kevin currently lives in Huddersfield and is getting married in August 2009. He enjoys watching Sheffield United football team and playing a round of golf.
Date: December 2008
