Imex has opened two new depots in Bristol and Northallerton. These will allow the company to expand its coverage in the South West of England, South Wales and further into the North East of England. Plus, it will mean that more of its customers will benefit from access to a free same day delivery service.

The company has created a number of jobs and employed local staff to man these new distribution centres. They will work closely with the five established depots and the Yorkshire-based head office. From there they will distribute the company's flagship ranges of MAN, Iveco & Mercedes replacement parts for trucks. Plus, a variety of lines from their All Makes Engine range and the replacement Bumper & Cab Panels range.

Imex Managing Director, Arthur Pinkney explains that the opening these new depots will bring a whole host of benefits to its customers in the Bristol & Northallerton areas: "All companies must move forward, if they are to succeed, and during 2010 we've aimed to expand our offerings. Which is why, we've extended our geographic footprint, recruited more staff and opened up in the South West and expanded in the North of England, as we know that there will be a lot of new opportunities for us in these areas."

He continued: "We also aim to roll out more special prices on replacement parts to our customers and make more on-time deliveries than ever before. Add this to the high levels of technical expertise available on our phones and our strong reputation throughout the industry and we think we have an even better leading aftermarket package. This expansion of the delivery service and opening of the new depots is further evidence of Imex's on-going commitment to offering its customers a real alternative to the franchised network.
